Universe

Take on the role of the Devil and offer players a game of cards with their souls at stake! Their objective: to entertain you by living the best story possible through their Avatars! Each player has the power to influence the Diablerie (scenario) as they wish, enriching it with their imagination. Thanks to the Blackjack-inspired rules, they'll take risks to unravel the storyline, the revelation of which is known only to you. Each Diablerie is not only an adventure, but also a universe in its own right: embark on science fiction, action, thriller, western, fantasy or steampunk!

Gameplay

As the Devil, you won't be able to resist playing a trick on all the players and leading them to their doom. At the heart of the story they're about to experience lies a revelation: your trap. If they fail to discover it, their souls will belong to you!
To begin with, you're going to offer players an adventure in which they'll be the heroes. One of your Diableries, as you like to call them.
Once this Diablerie has been chosen, players will be free to define their Avatar, the hero who will enable them to defeat you. At least, that's what you persuade them.
The color of your Avatar defines the player's character, determines who speaks first and gives you a trump card to escape the consequences of a bad draw.
Tribute is inspired by the rules of blackjack: get as close to 21 as possible, but never go over. Each player chooses a suit and builds his deck, representing his soul, with numbered cards (2 to Ace). These cards allow the player to take action, while the figures offer strategic choices for executing these actions.
With each card played, the player enriches the story by adding a narrative element. Certain combinations, such as blackjack or sequels, trigger special effects.
In this shared-narrative role-playing game, players build a story together, starting with an initial situation and a common objective.

The game contains all the rules, game tips, 9 turnkey Diableries and rules for creating your own stories.
